Anyone else wanting this to be released soon? GT3 A-Spec was the only game I really played on PS2 and am tempted to get my PS2 back out to play it.

Any news that you find out about it would be appreciated.

Yeah, been waiting for this too, prolouge was good for a while. Apperntly on the real version you can race against the Stig on the Top Gear track! :w00t:

gt5p was ok but imo dirt, f1 and burnout were and are better driving games. i wont get this unless im impressed by demo. the car handling was poor on gt5p and that is the driving physics they will use for gt5

GT3 A-Spec I nearly have every car on the game, like maybe 10 to go. Shame the proper one wont be out till Dec '09 or like early 2010 apparently.

The cryptic message in the forums here seem to spell out the following:

- Simultaneous worldwide GT5 release March 2010. (12 months - 30 days)

- 600 cars and 96 tracks, some of which are modelled from previous releases.

- Customisable user created tracks

- Multiplayer with voice chat, clan/team support

- Two versions to be released. One full version - more expensive, one cheaper, but able to download and customise what is required. eg Blu Ray/PSN editions?

- Another platform release - one that "has not been uncovered". PSP2 perhaps?

The graphics for GT3 and 4 on PS2 were so much better than anything else on ps2.

I really love the GT series but hate how it takes them like 5 years to make each game.

Anyone else do the 24hour races on GT4? Me and my 2 mates took in turns, hour on, hour off. While we had another PS2 set up in the room with a PES marathon going on. Happy Days.

Don’t tell anyone, but GTPlanet has learned the tentative release date for Gran Turismo 5 through an unofficial but extremely reliable source. Since the date has not been officially published and Sony could still change it at their leisure, we will not be saying anything specific to keep from eating an unhealthy dose of crow. What we can say, however, is that a 2009 release is almost certain, and the much-publicized Amazon.com date of December 29, 2009 is incorrect. GT5p was shocking, this better be better.

i met the creator of the game ..hes rather short

but apparently what they have done is fit the cars with shit loads of g force metres and stuff and they collect data when the car is driven

eg when the cars doing 100mph and you brake full on it measures distance to stop how the car moves when you try and steer etc

this is then uploaded on to the game.

basically the cars on the game will drive like real cars (they they have been saying that for ages) but this is the first time they have collected data like this and done it so intensivly.

driving games kinda get ruined once you can actually drive for real tho, mostly becuase while you play all i think is well a proper car wouldnt do that or that would happen in real life so i get anoyed lol

so hopfully this will be different
